The A899, Houston Interchange, Livingston will be closed at various points for repair works
- Closure of inside and outside lanes of northbound and southbound carriageways on the A899 at Houston Interchange
- Closure of southbound on slip
- Closure of northbound on slip
When will this take place?
The Road Closure will take place from 8am on Monday 30 March until 6pm on Friday 19 June
Diversion Routes
Diversion 1: All vehicles travelling eastbound from Eliburn North Roundabout on Houston Road onto A899. (Blue Route) - double back at roundabout, then use Alderstone Road, Ladywell East and Cousland Road to Cousland Interchange.
Diversion 2: All vehicles travelling eastbound from Eliburn North Roundabout on Houston Road onto A899 north bound. (Orange Route) - use diversion 1 and take northbound slip road onto the A899 north bound at Cousland Interchange.
Diversion 3: All vehicles travelling westbound from Pumpherston Road onto A899. (Dark Pink Route) - turn left onto Grange Road to Cousland Interchange.
Diversion 4: All vehicles travelling westbound from Pumpherston Road/Houston Industrial Estate onto A899 north bound. (Dark Blue Route) - use diversion 3 then take northbound slip road onto A899 northbound.
Diversion 5: All vehicles travelling westbound from Pumpherston Road/Houston Industrial Estate onto A899 south bound. (Light Blue Route) - use diversion 3 then take southbound slip road onto A899 southbound.
Diversion 6: All vehicles travelling from Houston Industrial Estate onto A899. (Dashed Dark Pink Route) - turn right onto Grange Road to Cousland Interchange.
Diversion 7: All vehicles travelling southbound on A899 (Light Pink Route) - continue on A899 southbound via contraflow.
