Current Road Closures, Diversions and Traffic Disruptions
Details of road closures and diversions currently in place in West Lothian.
It is our aim to limit the inconvenience to road users during maintenance works however, from time to time, we need to close roads or divert the traffic.

Parking will be suspended on Glasgow Road around the roundabout with Menzies Road for pedestrian safety for an event
The B8047 will be closed from B8047 from Broomparkwell Cottage to Erisco Cottage for BT work
Houston Road will be closed eastbound from opposite Murform Ltd to just before the junction of Grange Road for high pressure gas escape
The U11 will be closed around Wester Woodside Cottage for duct work
Parking will be suspended on Edinburgh Road at Lindsay Gardens with a banned right turn into Lindsay Gardens and footpath closure also in place for resurfacing and cycle track construction
The C17 will be closed from the junction of C18 towards B792 for cabling works
The access road to Beecraigs Visitor Centre will be closed from the U15 and car parking area within for refresh of all road markings within car parking areas
Work to deliver significant road and infrastructure improvements on Edinburgh Road, Bathgate starts from 21 September 2026
Forkneuk Road, Strathbrock Place and School Place will have periodic closures during working hours over the course of the works period to facilitate the renewal of the street lighting network in these areas
The U31 Humbie Smallholdings will be closed from From 11 Humbie Holdings to Camps Junction for BT duct work
The Manse Road Bridge will be closed to allow repair works to be carried out
Various parking suspensions will be in place in East Mains Industrial Estate for carriageway patching
