Remembering Together - West Lothian
The Ribbon was designed by Marion Parola Campbell and is the Remembering Together Covid memorial for West Lothian. Located at Almondvale Park in Livingston. The sculptural seating is detailed with the patterns of plants that people have associated with love, loss, compassion and remembrance. The garden site also hosts the wave wall but artist David F Wilson, where commemorative items have been concealed by local people to remember their loved ones.
The site is open all year round and visitors are welcomed to listen to the audio file which shares a short series of reflections about the pandemic experience.
