Request an Assisted Collection
You can request an assisted collection online using the form below.
Assisted collections are for residents that are infirm, have a medical condition or a disability which prevents them from presenting their bins for collection.
Waste Services will assess the householder for an assisted collection, whether it is a permanent or temporary situation.
If you qualify, we can arrange for your bin to be collected from an agreed, accessible location within your property and put back there afterwards.
The assessment will take place within 5 working days of the request being submitted.
Additional capacity due to medical conditions
Where medical requirements necessitate additional capacity, then a request can be made via your local District Nursing team for assessment. This information will be referred to the council.
