Temporary Local Bus Arrangements - Closure of Linburn Road, Kirknewton

Passengers should note that the closure of Linburn Road, Kirknewton will cause travel disruption for passengers using Lothian Country service X28.  This service will follow a diversion which omits all stops in Kirknewton.

Therefore, a free demand-responsive Taxibus service will be provided to connect passengers with diverted buses in East Calder.

The Taxibus service will operate between bus stops in Kirknewton and stops on Langton Road, East Calder where passengers can connect with bus services for onward east or westbound travel.

Ideally, journeys should be booked up to1 hour in advance of travel to ensure smooth connections with buses.
