Journey hubs

West Lothian Council in partnership with the Work Force Mobility Project has launched the next stage of its work to improve sustainable and accessible travel across the Council area.

A public consultation exercise is has been undertaken seeking the views of the public on potentially developing a network of Journey Hubs in West Lothian.

What are Journey Hubs? - Sometimes called mobility hubs, Journey Hubs bring transport options together in one safe, accessible place.

They make it easier for people to combine different modes of travel, offering facilities such as bus connections, shared bikes, walking and cycling routes, and clear, easy-to-use information. The aim is to make every day journeys simpler, greener, and more convenient for everyone.

Over the next two weeks, the project team will be visiting communities across West Lothian to talk with residents, businesses, and community groups about what they need from future Journey Hubs. If you spot the team out and about, make sure to stop and speak to us, we'd really value your ideas and experiences.
