Carriageway repairs on the A779 Bathgate
Carriageway improvement works are set to take place on a stretch of the A779 (Carnegie Road) in Bathgate between Boghall Roundabout and Starlaw East Roundabout from 8am on Monday 2 March until 4pm on Sunday 8 March.
Drivers should note a road closure will be in place along this section of the road to allow works to be carried out. A signed diversion for an alternative route will be in place via Carnegie Road, Deans Road, A89 and vice versa (see image).
To take advantage of the A779 (Carnegie Road) road closure, additional road surface improvements will take place on Boghall Roundabout including re-lining of the road surface.
