Whitburn Crossroads - Road Closure and Parking Suspension (Saturday 16 August)
Closures and suspensions will be in place in for carriageway resurfacing works. Weekend Works only - The closure of Manse Road and Armadale Road will not occur on the same weekend.
Road Closures
- A706 Armadale Road: From the entrance to the Whitburn Partnership Centre car park southwards to the junction with the A705/B7069.
- A706 Manse Road: From the junction with Union Drive northwards to the junction with the A705/B7069.
Parking Suspension:
- Armadale Road (both sides): From a point approximately 50m north of Empire Street southwards for a distance of approximately 290m (approximately 28m north of the junction with the A705/B7069).
- B7069 West Main Street - (South Side only). From junction with A706 Manse Road westwards to the junction with Union Drive.
- A705 East Main Street - (Both sides). From junction with A706 Armadale Rd/Manse Rd eastwards for 60m or thereby.
When will this take place?
- The closure will be in place from 12am on Saturday 16 August until 11.59pm on Sunday 7 September
Diversion
- A706 Armadale Road - A706 Armadale Road, B7066, Polkemmet Roundabout, B7069 Polkemmet Road and B7069 West Main Street and Vice Versa
- A706 Manse Road - A706 Manse Road, A706 Longridge Road, Blaeberryhill Road and A705 East Main Street and Vice Versa
