Adult Learning held a student event to celebrate National Numeracy Day. Students came along to Blackburn Partnership Centre to try out some number activities. We had a STEM Ambassador who gave us different activities to do, including working out prices, working out probability and measuring with lasers. The afternoon was about using numbers in different ways, as well as in everyday situations.
Students who came along said that they liked using the different resources, that they wouldn't change anything about the day and that they would like to do something similar again.
