Information on how to appeal against a decision not to award a Council Tax discount, Disabled Persons Reduction or exemption.

You can appeal against the decision not to award you a Council Tax discount, Disabled Persons Reduction or exemption. You must continue to pay your Council Tax until a decision has been made on your appeal.

Your appeal must be in writing, clearly stating that you are appealing against the refusal to award a Council Tax discount, Disabled Persons Reduction or exemption and setting out the reasons for your appeal.
