It also includes, on a quarterly basis, the locally-sourced indicator town centre occupancy and highlights house price changes to provide a basket of indicators covering various aspects of the local economy. Due to the economic change that the UK and Scottish economies are experiencing it is difficult to predict the broader effects on both economies in the longer term. Therefore, it is important to monitor and highlight how out local economy is faring in the wider context.
