Making an appointment with Building Standards

Appointments are required to see Building Standards Surveyors and appointments can only be made to discuss a registered building warrant application. On this page you will find details on how to make an appointment. If you are looking for general information on building standards then please check these web pages or contact a professional architect or similar professional.

Making an appointment:

You should make an appointment by contacting the officer via their email or telephone number given in all correspondence if you wish to:

  • discuss an ongoing building warrant application
  • arrange a site visit for ongoing approved works

If you visit without an appointment you will not  be seen by a building standards officer. This is because they are most probably on site or dealing with other applications.
