Parent Councils

West Lothian Parent Councils are set up and operate under national guidance:-

Almost all schools in West Lothian have a parent council.  If you are interested in the parent council of a particular school, please contact the school for further details.

All West Lothian Parent Councils have membership of Connect, formerly the Scottish Parent Teacher Council (SPTC).  Connect publish advice and guidance for parent councils, and can advise groups of parents on how to set up a parent council.
